Reading the past,
walking the present.
My name is Aktar Hossain Romiz. I hold a Bachelor's degree and am currently pursuing my Master's in History at Rajshahi College. History gave me a way of looking at the world, but my curiosity has never stayed inside the classroom. It follows me into travel, photography, geopolitics, historic architecture, environmental conservation, and sustainable agriculture.
I enjoy exploring places and understanding why they matter: who built them, who lived there, and which stories have quietly been forgotten. A camera helps me notice those overlooked details and keep a record of them.
Over time I have come to believe that preserving cultural heritage and protecting the environment are deeply connected responsibilities. The landscapes that shaped our history are the same ones a changing climate now puts at risk.
As a former Cadet of the Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC), Army Wing, I developed discipline, leadership, resilience, and a strong sense of responsibility that continue to guide how I learn and how I serve.
“Preserving cultural heritage and protecting the environment are deeply connected responsibilities.”
